One day, Jesus arrived in Jerusalem.

But, the Priests were jealous of Jesus.

Later on, Judas betrayed Jesus and told the jealous priests that Jesus wanted to be King.

One night, Jesus sat down to have a meal with his friends. But Judas was not there.

Next, Jesus broke the bread and shared the wine at the Last Supper.

After that, Jesus prayed in the garden of Gethsemane.

At that moment, Judas told the priests where Jesus was and they sent the guards to hurt Jesus.

Next, Simon carried Jesus' cross up the hill where he would be nailed to it.

Unfortunatley, Jesus was crucified.

After that, Jesus was put into a tomb, sealed with a large stone.

But, when the stone was rolled away, Jesus was not there.

Finally, Jesus was seen alive! Everyone was amazed!

The end.

The children have been retelling the story with actions and are very well informed as to why Christians celebrate Easter.

It was fabulous to be able to hear your re-telling of this story first hand when I came into your classroom yesterday. You are certainly getting the hang of those Talk 4 Writing actions. Keep it up.
